Creative writing exercise - Dear diary

You can either be yourself or you can pretend to somebody else in this creative writing exercise: 

Dear Diary 

You wouldn’t believe what happened today. I feel (insert emotion). I have to wonder if what happened was real. I (insert action) to tell it was real.

Let’s begin from the beginning. Today I went (insert place and location). I decided to go and (insert action). I met with (insert person). We thought it would be (insert adjective) to (insert action). 

I don’t know what to tell you, but what happened next was out of my control (explain what happens). I feel (insert emotion). 

I have never had a day like today before. Wait to see what happens tomorrow it’s going to be (insert emotion). 

(Insert sign off).
