Creative writing exercise - book club

Lacey is joining a book club today. It’s her first time going and she is feeling (insert emotion). Lacey decided to join a book club because (insert reason). Her favourite book is (insert title) and her favourite genre to read is (insert genre). Lacey walks inside the (insert description of the place where the book club is being held). She looks around and feels (insert emotion). Another woman dressed (insert description) waves at Lacey. Lacey waves back and sits down to join the group.

The above writing exercise will help you explore your creativity in a short story. You insert what you want to create the story in the brackets section. Watching stars

 In a whirlwind of stars, the galaxy lit up and then (insert what happens next?). It was the most (insert word) sight Billy had ever seen. Billy laid on the grass watching the stars and wondered, (insert thought).  After some time watching the stars, Billy decided to (insert action). He then got up from the ground and walked back inside to his home.  It was (insert descriptive word) inside Billy’s home.
